| Cairn's have "spirit" about them just short of
being
human they are very aware, see and want to do everything you do.
Cairn's are not much for being a barker like a Collie but they will let you know if someone is on "their" property, all 150 lbs of pit bull comes out of their 20 lb frame. Although all the cairn's I have met, including ours has never met a stranger. Cairn's are great dogs, they do play a little rough so I would recommend that children under 4 be introduced slowly. Being a terrier they are full of energy and sprit. Cairn's have Oversized teeth. Their teeth are the size of a dog twice their size. Which is good, with proper care the teeth will not wear over time as most small breeds have a problem with. By the age of one Oz knows a total of 10 tricks. Cairns are Praise & food driven. More food when puppies and praise when adults His favorite place to sleep is on the back of the couch. |
